Sense of Adventure
A few years ago I tiptoed out the gleaming gates of Google to go find out what was actually going on behind the curtain. What I found was wilder than I expected, and far funnier than I deserved — as if the universe had been waiting all along to show me its pockets.
I met dragons. I met my higher self — she goes by Anya, and she is luminous and a little mischievous. I wept in a Peruvian jungle and giggled in temples where giggling was almost certainly frowned upon. The shadow turned out to be real. So did the lantern. So did the small white-winged creature who, it turns out, has been padding along beside me the whole time, patient as moonlight.
This little corner of the world is where I lay it all out — what I'm learning, who I'm being taught by (some of them wear robes, some of them wear wings), and how I sit with the brave souls who are ready to go wandering into their own version of the magic.
I'm learning to embrace life's challenges with a sense of adventure by honoring whatever arises — and life has become an unfolding mystery and great adventure, full of childlike awe and wonder. I felt called to share the journey, to help others do the same.
